Sutherland Dianella Primary School Parents & Citizens Association (SDPS P&C)
The SDPS P&C meets twice a term in the school library. All members of the school community are welcome. We love to meet new faces and make new friends!
Hello and welcome to the SDPS P&C page.
The SDPS P&C is responsible for:
- · Raising funds for the school and deciding how those funds will be spent
- · Supporting school-led events
- · Running the school canteen
- · Keeping the school community up to date with our activities
- · Providing a unified voice for the school community
The SDPS P&C is an association for all members of the school community. New members and ideas are very welcome, and if you are interested in being a part of the P&C we encourage you to come along to our next meeting!
In addition to meetings we keep in touch with the school community through this page, via email and through our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SutherlandDianellaPrimarySchoolPandC/
We are always looking for volunteers for fundraising and events. We are especially keen for volunteers in the canteen, which is open two days a week and caters for events such as the sports carnival. If you are unable to volunteer your time it is possible to make a financial contribution – just ask about out Voluntary Contribution program.
In 2018 we are raising funds to line the ceiling of the undercover area and to install fans.
Fundraising activities planned for this year include:
- · Mother’s Day stall: 11 May 2018
- · School disco: 15 June 2018
- · Further dates TBC and discussed in the next P&C Meeting on 7 May 2018
In previous years the P&C has raised funds to provide: the sports equipment storage shed, uniforms for the choir and interschool sporting teams, weather protection for the playgrounds, installation of the junior and senior nature playgrounds, and new roller doors and carpet for the undercover area.
If you would like to find out more or have any questions, come along to one of our meetings, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
